  11. I am currently using a Hayes Accura 144 modem to log on to an ISP and browse
  12. the Web using Netscape. Although I have achieved a connect speed of 57.6 Kbps,
  13. I achieve pathetic rates of only about 500-600 baud/sec during ftp transfers.
